  • Time for the people being mentored (lleway for negotiation with management)
  • Hands off support from management - trust from management that we mentor the program as we see fit

  • Backing of Manager and Team.
  • Identify one day of the week or two half days that are devoted to the LTM program. Agree about time frame dedication.
  • Actively seek relationships within LTM
  • Maybe we should have a few comments about what each of us dable with so that we can build and target relationships with the LTM
  • Developing the love of learning OR the enduring natrue of learning.
  • Support from IT - no unnecessary blocking, forbidden messages
  • Support to purchase some software licenses (inexpensive ones)
  • Maintain connections with the LTM group
  • Time for us to use the technology to get more comfortable with the unfamiliar ones
  • Not be overloaded by requests for technical support by mentees (clearly define our role as mentors)
  • Gently overcoming resistance by identifying the benefits for the mentee (this will make your job easier)
